More InformationWith over two years in professional food service and holding a ServeSafe certification in food safety and sanitation through the National Restaurant Association, I have a passion for the cullinary arts, tea, and espresso. However, I also have a passion for teaching and mentoring fellow blind and V.I. people. In this vein I would like to offer cooking lessons to the blind and visually-impaired community.
I can either offer lessons on a case-by-case basis or coaching on specific recipes, or I can take someone through the basics and into intermediate and some advanced cooking methods. I believe that the teaching process is a learning process for both the student and the teacher alike.
